Coco Fibre Disc - 16cm (Box of 300)

The CNLA (Canadian Nursery Landscape Association) studied the effectiveness of hand weeding, herbicide and seven different weed barriers. They found the coco fibre discs to be the most effective weed control alternative - even more effective than herbicide. They're not a perfect solution, but they are useful when weeds are a concern. Popular for conservation planting in weedy areas.

We also find some people using these to prolong winter by a week or so. To try and keep the roots of trees frozen a bit longer to delay flowering or leafing out in the spring.

These are 16cm or 6.3" wide circles. There are 300 discs per box at $199.00 ($0.66/disc)
